   As Rhett’s “mechanic’s ear” for engines awakens echoes of Stephen’s final night, clues align—letters in Sedona, a mangled bumper at Twin Arrows, a dying senator’s confession. The investigation ignites romance, danger, and redemption; dementia-stricken GiGi (Stephen’s lost fiancée) becomes a fragile bridge between past and present.
